Madonna and Geena Davis took some time together after their surprise appearances at Coachella.
The former A League of Their Own costars posed together in the costumes they wore during Sabrina Carpenter‘s Coachella set on April 17.
Davis, 70, posted a backstage snap to her Instagram on Wednesday, April 22. She penned the caption as her beloved character, Dorothy “Dottie” Hinson, to Madonna’s Mae Mordabito.
“Mae – so happy to see you again! Love, Dottie,” the caption read.
The Accidental Tourist actress surprised the crowd first when she portrayed an older version of the Carpenter, a.k.a. “Aunt Sabrina,” and performed a mid-show monologue.
The actress took over the role from her Thelma & Louise costar Susan Sarandon, who joined Carpenter on stage the weekend prior.

As the “Espresso” singer’s set began to come to a close, she brought Madonna out for a duet.
Carpenter, 26, serenaded the crowd with her song “Juno” before Madonna, 67, emerged onto the stage.
The pair performed the icon’s hits “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer.” They finished the performance with a song seemingly from Madonna’s upcoming Confessions II album, a sequel to her hit 2005 project Confessions on a Dancefloor.

Days after the performance, Madonna shared on Instagram that she was “still flying high since Friday night at Coachella!”
“Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible To Bring Confessions II back to where it began -was such a thrill!” she wrote. “A moment in history, I will never forget! 🩷. I FEEL SO FREE 🩷.”

Davis and Madonna’s Coachella reunion comes 34 years after A League of Their Own first premiered. The pair starred alongside Rosie O’Donnell, Lori Petty and Tom Hanks in the cult-favorite film.
The Penny Marshall-directed sports comedy was based on the Rockford Peaches, a team in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The league was formed in the 1940s to fill the void left by male players who went off to fight in World War II.
