Deadline has confirmed with a spokesperson for the agency that Dasha Nekrasova, an actress renowned for her work in HBO’s Succession and A24’s Materialists, has been sacked by Gersh. This is because she recently did a podcast interview with far-right political analyst Nick Fuentes.
Deadline just stated that Nekrasova would appear in Iconoclast, a thriller that will be Gabriel Basso’s first time directing a movie. However, it was revealed on the same podcast that her contract for the movie was pulled before it was signed. The Fuentes podcast came out on YouTube a month ago, but it only started spreading across Hollywood in the last few days. This led to quick replies to disown comments that were seen as highly problematic.
Deadline has contacted Nekrasova and her lawyer, Mark A. Gochman, for a response. If and when the actress makes a statement, we will update this page.

The interview in question was part of Red Scare, a cultural commentary podcast that Nekrasova has produced with Anna Khachiyan since 2018. It was posted on YouTube a month ago. The video, titled “Fuentanyl OD – Nick Fuentes x Red Scare”, lasts more than two and a half hours. Nekrasova calls the problems “technical” in the text below the video. The conversation is mostly audio, with a few pictures of Nekrasova, Khachiyan, and Fuentes switching throughout.
The conversation, which has been viewed 220,000 times, discusses many touchy subjects. The three talk about “international jewery”, spreading racist ideas about Jews, Italians, Asians, and other groups. They also make statements about the Holocaust and immigrants, especially non-white ones, that raised concern.
Fuentes, the person Nekrasova and Khachiyan interviewed, is widely considered the leader of the “Groypers”, a group of young right-wing activists who believe in “America First” and oppose mainstream conservatism. They support more extreme views. Fuentes is seen as having even more extreme views than Charlie Kirk, a media personality who supported Trump and was killed on September 10 while speaking at a debate in Utah. Kirk was controversial for his remarks on race, immigration, the January 6 attack, and Covid-19.
For starters, CNN says Fuentes is a “well-known White nationalist and Holocaust denier.” The livestreamer has said he is a Christian nationalist and has spoken out against LGBTQ people, women, and feminists. He has also criticized Kirk’s conservative group, Turning Point USA, for not being tough enough.
