The rapper Offset is stable after he was shot in Florida, a representative for the artist said Monday.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is being closely monitored, the spokesperson said.

TMZ first reported the shooting. According to the site, he was shot near a casino in Hollywood, Florida.

In a statement that didn’t name the rapper, the Seminole Police Department said an “incident” happened in the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. One person was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood with non-life-threatening injuries, the department said.

The situation was quickly contained, and two people were detained by police, the department added.

Offset, who is from the Atlanta area and has three children with Cardi B, gained fame as a member of the trio Migos.
