Hunxho, the Atlanta rapper, put an end to disturbing rumors of his demise by taking to Twitter and sharing a selfie. Earlier that day, a troubling photo surfaced on Instagram Story, suggesting that the rapper had been shot near Georgia State University. The image depicted an individual lying unresponsive on the road, with police vehicles and crime scene tape surrounding the scene.
The caption accompanying the photo added to the alarm, claiming, “I go to GSU, ofc I look out of my window and find a dead body.” In response to the viral spread of the unsettling image, Hunxho stepped forward, posting the selfie with a poignant caption, “Stop Y’all.”
On Sunday afternoon, a shooting incident took place near Georgia State University, close to the intersection with John Wesley Dobbs Avenue NE, around 1:30 p.m. According to police, upon their arrival, they found a male victim who had suffered multiple apparent gunshot wounds.

In a statement, the police reported, “The male was unresponsive, not conscious, or breathing, and was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
Though the victim has not been officially identified, individuals on social media speculated it to be Hunxho.
“They saying hunxho got popped .. y’all heard about ts yet???” one person wrote on X.
Another expressed concern, stating, “this better not be no hunxho.” Two hours later, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the rapper put an end to the rumors by sharing the photo on Twitter.
Hunxho had been arrested in Atlanta in June of the previous year when a shooting occurred during his birthday celebration, resulting in at least one person being injured. He was arrested for alleged gun possession.
