How long have Adam Brody and Leighton Meester been together?
Adam and Leighton first met in 2007, thanks to Josh Schwartz, the producer of both The OC and Gossip Girl. One evening, at a dinner for Gossip Girl, Adam happened to be in the same restaurant, and Josh introduced him to everyone, including Leighton. However, nothing significant transpired between them that night.
Their friendship blossomed when they were cast in the 2011 film The Oranges, although at that time, Adam was in a relationship with someone else. In a 2021 interview with Anna Faris on her Unqualified podcast, Adam shared, “We didn’t get together until about a year after that movie when I was single.”
Adam and Leighton’s relationship was not made public until early 2013, when they were spotted together on several occasions. They officially debuted as a couple in June 2013 at the premiere of Adam’s film Some Girl(s).
On February 15, 2014, Adam and Leighton got married in a private ceremony. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Arlo Day Brody, in 2015. In 2020, the couple welcomed their second child, a son, whose name Adam and Leighton have not publicly disclosed.
