Vanessa Trump fully supports Tiger Woods as he seeks treatment following his car crash and arrest on charges of driving under the influence last month.
A source tells PEOPLE exclusively that the model, 48, has been by the golfer’s side as he recovers from his rollover crash, which occurred near Jupiter Island, Fla., on March 27.
“Tiger needed to do intensive therapy, and his girlfriend Vanessa has been in favor of it,” the source says.
“She still supports this and supports him. She loves him and knows that private treatment was necessary,” the insider continues.
The source says Trump and Woods, 50, have a “strong bond” and it was never doubted that she would be there for him following his arrest. “Vanessa suffered through some rough spots but has always been on his side even when she worried about him and softly mentioned that,” they add.
The insider says Trump feels “positive” about Woods’ future despite the challenges he’s facing, noting that “her optimistic outlook is good for him, although there is a long way to go.”

Trump and Woods went public with their relationship in March 2025 after sources told PEOPLE they had been quietly dating for several months.
Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018. They share five children together: daughters Kai, 18, and Chloe, 11, and sons Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, and Spencer, 13.
