Steve Guttenberg, widely recognized for his roles in hit films like Police Academy and “Three Men and a Baby”, proved he’s a real-life hero during the recent wildfires in Los Angeles County. The actor jumped into action when flames threatened his Pacific Palisades neighborhood, helping his community during a life-threatening situation.

“I’ve Never Seen Anything Like This”

“At 9 o’clock in the morning, it was an idyllic Pacific Palisades. By 10:30, the sky turned dark like it was nighttime.”

The devastating LA County wildfires have been tearing through the area, forcing thousands to evacuate. Residents are dealing with unpredictable flames, heavy smoke, and urgent evacuation orders.

The wildfires also consumed parts of Pacific Palisades High School, famous for being a filming location for movies like “Carrie” and “Freaky Friday”. Reality star Spencer Pratt revealed on social media that his home, along with his parents’ house, was burned in the fires.

“We Are One Big Community”

Guttenberg shared a heartfelt message of unity:

“When a crisis like this happens, you realize cars and jewels don’t matter. What matters is people. We’re not just a street or a town; we’re one big community.”
