Authorities have not publicly confirmed the exact time of the break-in. However, NBC News noted that it occurred around the same time as the arrest of three suspects linked to a South American burglary ring. These arrests followed a police chase that ended in a crash near Rodeo Drive.
According to TMZ, a staff member at the residence confronted the intruder, which may have prevented further damage or theft. Neither Kidman nor Urban were home at the time, and their daughters, Sunday (16) and Faith (14), were also absent.
