Kylie Kelce is setting the record straight on how she first met Taylor Swift.
The wife of former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce and sister-in-law of Travis Kelce appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she dismissed speculation surrounding her first encounter with the pop superstar.
When Kylie Kelce and Taylor Swift Really Met
In a teaser clip from the Wednesday, February 12 episode, Kylie, 32, confirmed that she and Swift met for the first time at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on January 21, 2024.
“People were acting like we were avoiding each other,” Kylie explained. “But that wasn’t the case at all. I was more than happy to meet someone Travis is dating.”
She pointed out that she didn’t even meet Travis Kelce until nearly a year into dating Jason Kelce, making the delay in meeting Swift seem completely normal.
“And she’s busy,” Kylie joked, referring to Swift’s demanding Eras Tour schedule at the time.
A Supportive Family Dynamic
Despite the late introduction, Kylie and Jason Kelce have been fully supportive of Travis and Taylor’s relationship.
In an April Today Show interview, Kylie praised their romance, saying, “Ultimately, if Travis is happy, we’re happy.”
The couple has since attended Swift’s Eras Tour shows, including concerts in London, Miami, and Nashville, often bringing their daughters along.
Now, as Swift and Travis Kelce continue their high-profile relationship, one thing is clear—the Kelce family has her back.
