Khloé Kardashian has shared that she developed a staph infection during the four months she spent at the hospital with Lamar Odom following his near-fatal overdose. In the February 13th episode of The Kardashians, Khloé, 40, revealed the physical toll the experience had on her, as she tirelessly supported Lamar, 45, through his recovery.
During the episode, Khloé confronted Lamar about the overdose that occurred at a Nevada brothel in 2015. She expressed frustration, saying, “It is his fault he couldn’t speak because he decided to do naughty things somewhere he shouldn’t have done them.”
Lamar responded by clarifying that he didn’t intentionally take drugs. He suggested that someone might have drugged him, although Khloé clarified in a confessional that Lamar did indeed overdose but didn’t recall taking the drugs.
Despite the emotional stress, Khloé never left Lamar’s side, which ultimately led to her own health struggles, including the staph infection. In a candid moment, she opened up about how the experience affected her physically and emotionally.
