Kanye West has left Los Angeles for Tokyo to “decompress” after a series of vulgar social media rants targeting his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children.
Seeking Solace in Tokyo
Insiders told TMZ that West, 47, flew to Japan last week and “instantly calmed down.” Sources claimed Tokyo provides him a sense of disconnection and peace, unlike LA, which can be a “trigger” for him.
Meanwhile, his wife, Bianca Censori, reportedly checked out of the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood on Monday. It remains unclear if she will join him amid ongoing marital tensions.
Social Media Outburst Sparks Legal Concerns

West’s latest online controversy began on March 15 when he clashed with Kardashian, 44, over their daughter North West’s involvement in a song featuring Christian “King” Combs and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In a leaked text exchange, Kardashian informed West that she filed a trademark for North’s name.
“I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her,” she wrote. “One person has to trademark!”
West reacted aggressively.
“Amend it or I’m going to war,” he warned. “And neither of us will recover from the public fallout.”
“You’re going to have to kill me,” he added.
The Heartless rapper later accused the “Kardashian mob” on X of restricting his parenting rights and attempting to put him in jail.
Custody Battle Looms
Sources told Page Six that Kardashian wants to shield her children from West’s erratic behavior. She also opposes North’s professional association with Diddy. Reports suggest she is considering legal action to strip him of joint custody.
West’s unpredictable actions continue to fuel controversy. Whether his Tokyo retreat helps him regain stability remains uncertain.
