It was a glamorous family outing as Kaia Gerber stepped out with her superstar parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, for the opening night of the Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck in New York City on April 3.
The trio turned heads on the red carpet, posing for photos before heading into the theater to watch the stage adaptation. The play is based on the 2005 film starring George Clooney and tells the story of CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow’s famous takedown of Senator Joseph McCarthy in 1954.
Missing Family Member
While Kaia, 23, Cindy, 59, and Rande, 62, were all smiles, Kaia’s older brother Presley Gerber, 25, was noticeably absent from the event.
A Long-Lasting Love Story
Cindy and Rande’s relationship continues to thrive after more than two decades of marriage. The couple wed in 1998, welcomed Presley in 1999, and Kaia in 2001.
In a 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cindy recalled their first meeting: “We met at my agent’s wedding. When I met him I was still with Richard [Gere], and he didn’t want to come. Rande had a girlfriend too, so neither of us was looking. That’s the best way to meet someone — when you’re just yourself. We became friends, and after Richard and I split, we started dating.”
Following in Mom’s Footsteps
Cindy, one of the most iconic supermodels of the 1990s, has proudly watched Kaia follow her path in the modeling world.
Kaia has since carved out her own space in the industry, walking runways for major fashion houses and gracing magazine covers worldwide.
