For years, TikTok has transformed emerging talents and relatively unknown artists into superstars—if only for a brief moment. Record labels frequently scour the platform for the next big song or act, but that’s not its only function in promoting successful music.
Sometimes, TikTok users revive years-old tracks—often ones that have been largely forgotten—turning them into hits. Since TikTok’s user base skews younger, there have been numerous occasions when users have collectively unearthed a forgotten song, featuring it in thousands of videos and restoring its popularity.
This week, two of the biggest names in the music industry have made headlines as Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé’s only duet reenters the TikTok Billboard Top 50, more than a decade after its original release.
Their collaboration, “Until the End of Time,” has debuted on the TikTok Billboard Top 50, which ranks the most-used and most-listened-to tracks on the platform. The single has begun its run on the chart at No. 39, narrowly reclaiming its status as a Top 40 hit once again.

Justin Timberlake and Queen Bey’s track ranks among 15 debuts on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 this week. While only three songs debut lower, the two Grammy winners still outshine artists like Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and NLE Choppa.
“Until the End of Time” marks Timberlake’s second entry on the TikTok-exclusive chart, while Beyoncé secures her sixth career placement on the list. This new achievement also marks her first collaboration to appear in the rankings.
The two musicians released “Until the End of Time” in 2007 as the final single from Timberlake’s blockbuster album *FutureSex/LoveSounds*. Initially a solo production, the track transformed into a must-hear event when Beyoncé joined in for its promotion.
“Until the End of Time” reached No. 17 on the Hot 100, marking another top 20 achievement for both stars. It also enjoyed success across various radio formats, including dance, R&B, and pop. Although the song was a significant release at the time, it has faded as a favorite among many fans of Timberlake and Beyoncé. However, it now appears to have found a new fan base.
