Gauri Khan, known for her roles as a producer at Red Chillies Entertainment with husband Shah Rukh Khan, an interior designer, and now venturing into the restaurant business, recently discussed her daily routine in an interview. She emphasized the importance of her children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, in her life, particularly mentioning her afternoon routine when AbRam returns home from school for lunch.
Speaking with Curly Tales, Gauri described her routine, stating, “Well, I’m not an early riser. Because the house is awake at night. So, I wake up by 10.” She elaborated, mentioning her morning coffee, gym, lunch, and work commitments. Gauri highlighted that spending time with her kids, especially AbRam, who returns home around 3 PM, is a priority. She then heads to work and returns home for dinner, emphasizing her preference for a simple life. Shah Rukh, she added, is also inclined towards nighttime activities.

Regarding her evening schedule, Gauri mentioned aiming to conclude appointments by 7:30 PM, though acknowledging that each day presents different demands. She expressed flexibility due to appointments that may extend later into the evening.

Gauri and Shah Rukh have celebrated over 32 years of marriage. Initially hesitant about living in Mumbai, Gauri’s affection for the city blossomed after Shah Rukh Khan achieved superstardom, and they established their residence, Mannat.
In Shah Rukh’s foreword for the book “My Life In Design,” he revealed that Gauri took on the role of designer for Mannat due to financial constraints after acquiring the expansive sea-facing property. He recounted, “The challenge of designing her own spacious house, coupled with the encouragement of friends and her determination to ensure our home fulfilled our desires, motivated her to explore new avenues.” He praised her ability to grasp spatial concepts and integrate functionality, logistics, and aesthetics to create a cherished home.
