Post Malone’s ex-fiancée, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, handed him legal papers just two days before his Coachella Weekend 2 performance. According to InTouch, Park hired a process server to find Malone at a Downtown Los Angeles apartment on April 18, 2025.
Legal Tensions Between Malone and Park
Both Malone and Park filed separate custody petitions earlier this month. They are seeking legal rights over their daughter, born in 2023. Her name and age haven’t been made public. Us Weekly reports that Malone filed first in Utah on April 14. Park submitted her petition two days later in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Page Six says Malone filed in Utah because that’s where they had been co-parenting. While Malone’s requests remain private, Park wants sole physical custody and joint legal custody.
Malone’s Focus on Fatherhood

In a rare interview with Apple Music in July 2023, Post Malone opened up about fatherhood and how having a child changed his perspective on life. He shared, “Having a baby really put a lot into perspective and it’s really slowed me down a lot, but it’s, like, the most beautiful thing.” He emphasized how he wanted to enjoy the journey of fatherhood, not just focus on the destination. Apple Music covered this heartwarming reflection in their feature with the musician.
Coachella Amid Custody Battle
Despite the ongoing legal battle, Malone performed at Coachella on both April 13 and April 20, 2025. His Coachella performances occurred just days after the legal papers were served. Malone’s representative has not yet commented on the matter.
