Devara Part 1s box office collection on day seven shows a significant decline after Gandhi Jayanti, marking the completion of its first week for the Jr NTR film

Devara Part 1 has completed its first week since release, experiencing several fluctuations over the past seven days. While the film enjoyed a strong opening on day one, it hasn’t maintained that momentum in the following days, contrasting with the sustained success of Stree 2.

The film debuted with a strong opening of Rs 82.5 crore last Friday and has since experienced a gradual decline in box office earnings. However, it gained an advantage from the Gandhi Jayanti holiday, earning approximately Rs 21 crore on Wednesday after making around Rs 14 crore on Tuesday.

However, there was a significant decline in earnings on Thursday. According to Sacnilk, the film made approximately Rs 7.25 crore on its seventh day, down from Rs 21 crore the previous day, marking a substantial drop of about 65 percent.

The decline in box office earnings may also be attributed to the start of the Navratri season, as many people participate in garba celebrations, leading to lower theater attendance. Currently, the film’s total collection in the Indian market, across all languages, stands at Rs 215.6 crore. Released in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada—the film features Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Jr NTR. There is still hope for an increase in earnings during its second weekend.
