Chris Hughes Quits ITV Racing Job Amid Pay Dispute, Replaced by Strictly Star

Reality TV star Chris Hughes, known from Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother, has reportedly quit his role on ITV Racing following a major row over pay. Chris had been part of the ITV Racing team since 2019, regularly appearing on coverage for big events like the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot, co-hosting with Oli Bell on “The Social Stable.”

Before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house this month, Chris walked away from ITV Racing. Insiders claim he was unhappy with his salary not being increased, and it hit him hard to see Sam Quek, a former Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celeb star, step into his role at Aintree.

Despite the career shake-up, Chris seemed in good spirits at the Grand National Festival just before entering the Big Brother house.

In the show, Chris has grown close to JoJo Siwa, with their bond sparking attention. He even read a touching letter to JoJo from her family during a recent episode, which made both of them emotional.

Meanwhile, some fans and co-stars have questioned Chris’s intentions, with accusations of “game-playing” floating around. Still, Chris remains in the Celebrity Big Brother final.
