Music producer Benny Blanco just got a fresh look, and his fiancée Selena Gomez is all for it!
Benny often jokes about his appearance. In April 2024, he told Whiskey Ginger host Andrew Santino:
“I believe I’m actually so ugly that I popped out the other side and now I’m just a hot guy.”
His looks even became a joke at the 2025 Golden Globes, where he and Selena made their red carpet debut.
Host Nikki Glaser quipped:
“Selena Gomez is here with her new fiancé Benny Blanco… and Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish.”
Although the joke seemed harsh, Nikki later revealed on Armchair Expert that Benny and Selena approved it beforehand.
Benny Blanco Jokes About His Looks
Benny has never shied away from self-deprecating humor about his appearance. In an interview on Whiskey Ginger in April 2024, he joked:

Benny and Selena’s romance began in July 2023, but they kept things under wraps until December 2023, when Selena confirmed their relationship in an Instagram comment.
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she wrote. “He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with.”
Since then, the couple has been inseparable—attending major events together, supporting each other’s careers, and, apparently, even making eyebrow grooming a team effort!
