Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have reignited engagement rumors after she stepped out with a sparkling ring on her left hand.
The 52-year-old journalist attended the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17, accompanied by her 47-year-old boyfriend, T.J. Holmes. She stunned in a blue one-shoulder gown while showing off a dazzling ring. As they posed together on the red carpet, Holmes wrapped an arm around Robach, further fueling speculation.
Addressing the Engagement Rumors
Despite the buzz, Robach has repeatedly denied engagement rumors. During a March 6 interview with People, she explained that even her mother had asked if she had secretly tied the knot.
“The truth is, my mom thought we were married because we wear our [fitness] rings,” Robach said. “She asked me if we had gotten married without telling her. I told her, ‘Mom, I would definitely let you know.’”
Holmes laughed and added, “We’re not doing that, Mom.”
How Their Relationship Began
Robach and Holmes first made headlines in November 2022 when they were spotted holding hands. At the time, Robach had already separated from her husband, Andrew Shue, while Holmes was about to finalize his divorce from Marilee Fiebig.
Their romance remained a topic of discussion, but they kept quiet about it initially. However, they playfully hinted at the speculation on a GMA3 episode in December 2022.
Since leaving the morning show, the couple has fully embraced their relationship. In December 2023, they launched the Amy & T.J. podcast, where they openly discuss their journey.

While engagement rumors persist, the couple has made no official announcements. Robach made it clear during a holiday podcast episode that she didn’t want a Christmas Day proposal. Holmes quickly shut down speculation, saying, “No, there won’t be a Christmas proposal.”
