Sydney Sweeney’s apparent PR stunt could get her into legal trouble.
Sydney Sweeney, an actress, may have run into issue with the authorities after doing a stunt near the iconic Hollywood sign.
TMZ got video of the “Euphoria” actress and a few friends at the famous monument at night. You can see the actress climbing up on the H and hanging up several bras in the video. The move is to promote her new line of pants, which Jeff Bezos is said to be supporting.
FilmLA gave her permission to film there, but she wasn’t allowed to touch the sign. TMZ said that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce may call the police if they saw someone trespassing or vandalising, but it’s not clear if they will.

Steve Nissen, the CEO of the Hollywood Chamber, told that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce did not give permission for the project and did not know about it ahead of time.
He went on to say, “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce owns the intellectual property rights to the image of the Hollywood® Sign, so anyone who wants to use or access the Hollywood® Sign for business purposes must get a license or permission from the Hollywood Chamber.” TMZ says that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce did not give a licence or approval for the production with Sydney Sweeney, and no one asked for a licence or permission from the Chamber for that production either.
Nissen added that they are “still looking into how and under what authority (if any) the production accessed the site” when it comes to charges being made.
