‘Rocking Star’ Yash rose to fame nationwide with the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 1, which made a huge impact on Sandalwood cinema. The sequel, KGF: Chapter 2, broke many box office records and boosted his popularity even more. Yet, surprisingly, Yash’s own mother and new film producer, Pushpa Arun Kumar, has openly said she won’t produce a movie with her son.
Pushpa Arun Kumar is making her production debut with the film Kothalavadi under her banner PA Productions. At the teaser launch, when asked about collaborating with Yash, she firmly said no. She believes Yash already enjoys great fame and wealth, so she wants to focus on supporting other talents. As she put it, “It’s not right to serve food to those who already have it.”
Yash is currently working on Toxic, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. Fans eagerly await more updates on this project.
