Hailee Steinfeld has expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the love and support she received from the people of Buffalo, New York following her engagement to NFL star Josh Allen.
A Queen’s Welcome to Buffalo
On April 3, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Steinfeld, 28, was congratulated on her engagement. Fallon surprised her with a photo of a celebratory billboard in Buffalo that read: “The Queen City has a new queen. Congratulations Josh and Hailee.”
“I have been given a very warm welcome. The people are incredible,” Hailee shared with a bright smile. “It’s such a wonderful, wonderful place. I love it so much.”
She called the gesture one of the “cooler” things she’s experienced since sharing the news.
What’s Next for Hailee and Josh?
In February, the couple made their official red carpet debut at the NFL Honors event in New Orleans, where they walked hand-in-hand and radiated joy.
According to Us Weekly, the couple has already started planning their big day. A close source shared, “They don’t want a long engagement. Hailee is very excited about the planning process. Now that Josh is done with the season, she hopes they can have more time to make decisions together.”
