Jennifer Lopez was a sartorial sensation as she stepped out for the opening night of Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck.
The Unstoppable star unveiled the figure-hugging number underneath when she removed the cape to reveal her stunning black floor-length dress which featured a plunging V-cut neckline.
Lopez teamed the strapless velvet gown with a matching black clutch and accessorized with a pair of drop earrings and a necklace that featured black and gold jewels. Meanwhile, several rings adorned the star’s fingers.
For her hairstyle, Lopez opted for a sleek and sophisticated straightened ‘do with a middle part. The simple style helped to complement rather than overwhelm her overall look.

Lopez attended the opening night in support of her former Out of Sight costar George Clooney, who made his Broadway debut in the play. Good Night, and Good Luck is the stage adaptation of the 2005 film of the same name which was directed by and starred Clooney. The storyline centers on CBS news journalist Edward R. Murrow and his 1954 exposé on Senator Joseph McCarthy.
In the film version, Clooney played producer Fred Friendly. On stage two decades later, Clooney now holds the lead role of Murrow.
Clooney and the rest of the Good Night, and Good Luck cast also had support in the form of stars such as Cindy Crawford, Hugh Jackman, Uma Thurman, Kylie Minogue, and Jim Parsons who all attended the opening night.
Also in attendance were the actor’s former E.R. costars Julianna Margulies and Anthony Edwards, who had a mini reunion as they showed up to support Clooney as he made his Broadway debut.
