Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski have shared their thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce—and they’re all in favor of the couple starting a family.
On a recent episode of their Dudes on Dudes podcast, the retired NFL stars discussed the idea of Swift and Kelce having a child. Edelman, 38, was particularly enthusiastic. “That would be a great kid,” he gushed, clearly impressed by the potential mix of Swift’s musical genius and Kelce’s athletic skills.
A Future Superstar in the Making?
Gronkowski, 35, playfully speculated about the hypothetical child’s future. “The kid would be performing—having eight catches a game and then doing the halftime show,” he joked.
Edelman quickly pointed out that if this were to happen, it could be sooner than people think. “Taylor was on the scene when she was, like, 13,” he noted, referring to Swift’s early rise to fame in the country music industry.
Gronkowski then took the joke even further. “Their kid would be like 14 in college. Just surpass[ing] middle school because he’s so smart,” he quipped. “He’ll be in the league at 18 and singing and performing at halftime.”
The idea of a Swift-Kelce child excelling in both sports and music seemed highly entertaining to both former players. “Dang, they need to have a kid if that’s the case,” Gronkowski added with a laugh.
